Falconry Days

A full day discovering falconry starts at 10.00am with a coffee and general chat. There will be a short talk about falconry and you will be shown the correct way to handle and hold the birds. We will then venture into the countryside where you will fly your Harris hawk - a wonderful experience which you will savour! The Harris hawk will hunt rabbit and game birds, amongst a variety of quarry.

A light lunch of soup, sandwiches and a drink will be served at 1.00pm, when the morning's events can be discussed.

After lunch, we will move on to lure swinging and hooded falcons; during which we will fly falcons to the lure and learn about their hunting and catching techniques. This breathtaking experience will be remembered for a long time, as you experience the peregrine stooping in at around 180 to 200 miles per hour!

Fly a Harris Hawk - Enjoy a 2 hour walk through the wonderful cheshire countryside and experience these magnificent birds flying to your fist.      £40 per person (small groups upto 6 people)
